🎒 Unboxing My Backpack: What you need for GED/HiSET...

Hello, my friends!

When I was a kid, I remember that dreaded feeling in my stomach when it was "back to school." I had enjoyed a carefree summer, and then it was time to start school again and loose my freedom. I was entering into the unknown with a new teacher (elementary school) or even worse, a new school (middle school and high school).

But things are different with adult education. Now, I am actually thrilled for the first day of school. I don't have that dread and fear, but instead I'm filled with excitement and wonder.

All of my in-person students say that getting their GED/HiSET is way better than high school. They like our program more and say that it is just a more enjoyable experience. Now, I'm not sure if that is a bias for my program or if high school was just that bad!! Do you have the same thoughts?

Anyway, here we are ready to begin the new school year - YAY!! (I hope you are excited too!)

My new video is about back to school and what you need to pack in your backpack. It is essentially a backpack haul - something I have never done before. Other people do this for high school and college, so I figured we needed a fun video like this for GED/HiSET!

What do you pack in your backpack?

🎉 I just love when someone passes the test AND encourages others. Look at the tips in the comments:

  • "Flag the hard questions" -- YES! Don't get hung up on those tricky questions. Spend a minute or two on the question. If you need to, come back later! (But don't forget to flag it so you remember which one it was!)
  • "Remember, don't be nervous or freak out. Take a deep breath and maintain your focus." Honestly, this is just believing in yourself. If you have confidence, and you try your best, it will all work out (maybe not this time, but soon...)
  • "This video is absolutely life changing!" Well, I'm not sure about "life changing," but it is very, very helpful for the science test. Honestly, it is one of the most important science concepts on the test. Understand this, and you will get a higher science score.

Test Tip:

Did you read the above paragraph?? The test tips are imbedded within the comments. 🌟
